Friday - December 10, 2004 Holy crap....I've just been slapped awake by an astute reader who pointed out that the "Bit by the Dragon" DVD cover I linked to earlier shows Shakes completely in the wrong lane! The image has been flipped by the artist that they hired...not sure what she was thinking there. I've made them aware of it. The shots from Moroso arrived today and they are sorted and online in the store. Highlights! I really loved this angle I was getting at the end of the day. - Nikki not only instructs, she wrenches her own bike. There was quite a bit of this going on, especially before lunch. It's hard to just let your belongings lay out there on the track with people wizzing by after a crash, but it's best to just get yourself out of harm's way. We can't replace you guys. (yet) Purdy Bikes He's got one in his sights. - I hope nobody was in there when they fell over. Shifter Carts were doing their thing on the new carting track next to the GP track. They were pretty fun to watch. - Sophisticated little buggers. You had to be wary of the slick curbing. Rocco Dispirito, star and chef on the TV show The Restaurant flew down for his second trackday, and second time ever on a sportbike. - Novice class starts things off slow and structured. Hey check out SliderPhoto's 2005 Calendar. It's filled with their trackday photos from this year...he's got some awesome shots. |
