Thursday - October 21, 2004 Appearantly there was a collision at Deal's Gap today between a semi and a motorcycle right in front of the store/resort/CRoT. According to my source, he was warned of the accident at the Overlook (other end of Deal's Gap) and knew exactly where it was. As he eased down the final straight toward the scene in first gear, going about 35mph in a 55mph zone, a State Trooper working the accident heard the high-revving motorcycle and jumped out in the road to stop the maniacal madman. The Trooper then raised his voice shouting that the biker needs to slow it down, and "It's people like you that are the reason we have to come up here everyday." Did I mention that a semi had just crashed right behind him? I pity you decent LEOs for having retards like this screwing up your reputation. Thursday - October 21, 2004 Quick and dirty update...these are highlights from Deal's Gap weekend-BEFORE-last, and a few from last weekend's Talladega trackday....all shots by Keith. I've also got the highlights from Deal's Gap last weekend to get on here... Your helmet scares me. Those shoes seem like they'd be hard to ride in.
