Shots from Deal's Gap last weekend (10/9-10) should be online in a couple of days...Keith has his CDs in the mail but the post office was closed Monday. Jennings shots are in the store.

This update has a lot about ME. Sorry. I got the F4i back on the tarmac a few weeks ago, but I've still got a few things to finish up on it. I installed a pair of Hella HID driving lights to function as my high and low beams. I've also got a matching set of Hella fogs (Halogen) that still need to be mounted which will angle out and up to illuminate the curves at night. All but the low beam will be wired into the high beam switch with relays. Wheeler has been doing a killer job helping me out with fabrication of brackets and installation. I also painted the race plastics with chalkboard paint. =)

Participation at Jennings was pretty light, so it gave us a chance to play a little and shoot some video without crowding things up. AMA racer Brian Stokes came out to test some Dunlop tires at their limits for his upcoming race at Road Atlanta.  He was intentionally spinning up the rear coming out of turns and backing it in to turn 1 every lap. Quite a show.

My "friends" drawing all over my bike. =)

Lori put her touch on there...including a self-portrait.

3 of our faster instructors...for the record, most of our instructors run AMA Superstock qualifying times at most tracks...so if you're looking for some cheap guidance, Sportbike Track Time can't be beat. - George leads Jacob and Noah...George has one functional hand and I still couldn't stay with the bastard.

The track owner didn't have too much of a problem getting around him on his 2-stroke. - Flagman John checks the track for debris.

Nancy was smokin' on her new R6. Cynthia's focus says it all.

My riding buds Jacob and Noah, instructors on the blue and red bikes above, have a sportbike-based business venture going. Like me, they are trying to make a living based around motorcycling. Their specialty is frame sliders...rock solid frame sliders. I had them on my F4i when I crashed, and the side panels didn't get a scratch on them. My engine cases also did not bust and throw oil all over the road. There's really no reason not to have some good frame sliders on your bike, and why not send some business to fellow enthusiasts.
