Oh yeah, and our photos are featured in several publications that are on the stands right now:

Super Streetbike - One page piece about R1forums.com gathering at Deal's Gap
SuperMoto Racer - 2-page contents section spread and sequence of my crash photos (with negative/incorrect description)
Moto Euro - Nice mention in the first editorial section about next-month's article featuring our work - includes sample photo
Roadbike - Article about Sportbike Track Time experience at Talladega
Great Road Adventures and Off-Road Exploits - Small local publication about Deal's Gap and surrounding roads - nearly all action shots throughout.

A big thanks for everyone's patience lately. I just found out that Keith's shots from last weekend still have not gotten here in the mail, which means we're not going to be able to get the shots online this week because we're going to Barber tomorrow. So, if you're looking for shots from last weekend, send me an email at notify@killboy.com and I'll send you a notification when the shots get online next week.

I'm also about 2 weeks behind on orders and I appreciate how everyone has been really cool.

Ya know, this whole lane crossing thing has been bothering me for a long time, and last weekend's events were the last straw. I'm not going to stand back and just shake my head at how this problem is not being addressed. Imagine if the LEOs put as much effort into catching lane crossers as they put into busting chops for 55 in a 50. I'm working on a campaign to do something about this...we can all do something about this fairly easily.

I'll explain more soon, but for now I could use a simplified graphic of a car going around a curve in the wrong lane, and a motorcycle approaching in the oncomming lane. Something similar to this, but with the car traveling "away" from the camera, and the motorcycle just coming out from behind the bank, about to collide with the car. If anyone can find or create something like this, I will love you forever. It needs to be very simplified, like the AOL guy, and 2-color (black/white) in design, so we can cut it on a vinyl plotter.

Now this graphic may not sit well with some of our sports car enthusiast friends, but this is not aimed at all car drivers. Typically, sports car drivers are good about staying in their lane...similar to motorcycle riders. These graphics will be used to quickly educate tourists who may not be familiar with the responsibilities of driving a vehicle that is suddenly 10 times heavier than surrounding traffic.

Noah let me in on a little racing organization that he was a part of last weekend. South East Mini Roadrace Association already has a pretty strong motard following, and it's a great way to get kids into organized roadracing. They had a blast and finished first overall in the endurance event.

Well it was a sad weekend in the area. 3 motorcycle fatalities and one rider in critical condition due to head-on collisions with cars. None occured at Deal's Gap, but on surrounding roads. One rider was our friend Robyn McCrone...one of the sweetest ladies you could ever meet. She always, and I mean ALWAYS had a smile. She helped Wheeler run his shop on several occasions when he was really busy or when he needed to run out to the Gap and pick up a fallen rider. She and Lori had made plans to ride together at Jennings in a few weeks so Robyn could work on her cornering with the hopes of finally getting that knee down. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Our thoughts are with her family and especially with you Mark.
