Thursday - September 9, 2004 Oookey dokey. Lori and I finally got the shots sorted and they are uploading into the store now. Needless to say it was a busy weekend last. We saw the usual crazy stuff, some of which you can see below, but considering the number of people on vehicles defying gravity, there was a pretty low amount of falling down. The weather moved in Tuesday and it rained, but nothing terribly heavy or windy. We came through the Gap last night on the way back from Maryville for supplies, and the road was pretty clear. You could see where a few trees had fell and been cleared, but there were still some wood chips and bark scattered across the road that should blow off as soon as it dries up. This weekend there are 3 groups doing their Gap thing, plus the annual Cherokee (cruiser) Rally so it will probably be another busy one. "Hollywood" rips it up on his FZ1 (He says hey to his girl Kristina out in Cali =) - Sick lean on the R1
Scary driving
Nothing good will come from that. - Saddle bags flew everywhere, but no one was hurt.

Local Tim pulls one out his ass...nice save. Speaking of asses, some dude crashed his CBR and left all the pieces and fluid in the road for others to crash on. Eight of us stopped and cleaned up your mess. Lori wrote "SLO - OIL" in the road with sidewalk chalk, I contributed an orange flag which got stolen of course.
"Hey I'm not sure if that's a sportbike or touring bike up there!"
