*ALERT* A little birdie has warned me that the TNHP may be planning another sting in the next 2-3 weeks at Deals Gap. They don't think Drag Racing will be the emphasis this time. It will probably be speeding and wreckless endangerment, since those are harder to contest.
So I guess about 4 MILLION of you have found your pictures from the Honda Hoot so far. I am very sorry for the extra time it took for me to get those shots online. The event upload, which took about 4 HOURS, kept hanging then I had to start back over.
We hit the Gap for a little while Saturday. There was an interesting mix of vehicles. The BMW Z3 Roadsters and Coupes were there...
...as was a group of sidecars.
Then there was the usual having of fun...
Sunday we shot the 2nd raceday at Thunder Valley Motocross here in central TN. If you live around the area, you should check this place out. Keith and I have been to a few motocross events, Keith has actually been to quite a few, and we were both impressed with this track. It's quite large with a nice variety of jumps, turns, and elevation changes. Well-maintained with water trucks and tractors resurfacing the track between sessions. Here are some shots we took:
