I crashed.
Here's how it went down. Keith was quick on the shutter to get all these great shots.
I had to grab some brake at hard lean, and the front end tucked.
Right about here is where the collarbone snapped and the ankle got banged up.
Here I'm noticing his chain tension.
Here we hit the ditch and begin our roadside dance.
The bike decides to take the lead so we begin to swap positions.
The bike comes across.
And the foot shot.
I had a good time prior to that though!

5 pre-production C6 Corvettes paraded through Friday.
To answer some common questions:
Yes that is a colored retread from Tomahawk tires. It was sticking really well, but it was out of round (not a balance issue) as was every Tomahawk tire we tried. It wasn't very bad, but I could feel it hopping slightly when I was hard on the brakes. I don't think any tire could have kept me from crashing in the situation I was in.
The denim in the background of the first 2 shots is a guy roadside with a video camera. No he didn't get it on video. =(
