Thursday - April 1, 2004 Well I finally got the shots online from last weekend, sorry for taking longer than I said it would. This weekend is looking a little cooler as far as temps go, but should be nice otherwise. A few friends from Canada are down staying at Fontana, and the guys/gals from Dragoneez are in Ron and Nancy's rentals...which now feature a recreational building with new pool table, ping-pong table, and foosball table just for starters. They have a second large hot tub on the way, and will also be putting in a fridge/bar, stereo system, satellite TV, and video game system with driving simulator in the near future. So if you've been looking for something to do at night when you come to the Gap, there ya go. (I'm trying to get them to call it Club Killboy ;) Wednesday - March 31, 2004 Well the relentless string of problems I have had this week trying to get all the photos from last weekend online borders on hilarious. (for me anyway) It's a ridiculously long, boring story...I started typing it and it bored me, so I'll spare you. Regardless, they are uploading now, but the high-speed wireless I am using has been going down all day, so they may not get completely uploaded until....whenever they fix that. So last weekend was slammin' at the ole Gap. It was kinda dead until about 1pm each day, with only a couple of incidents Sunday...a Supra in the ditch early, and a sportbiker down late. I heard the highway patrol was pretty hot-n-heavy on the Cherohala Skyway Saturday. I have way more highlights than I need to put on this front page, so if you'd like to see the complete album, you can view it on Imagestation here. Let the highlights begin! This poor guy hit the gravel a little too fast on his new ZX-6R. Y'all take it easy on the gravel and stick to the rear brakes. Lori wonders why the police officer isn't in FRONT of the dangerously large vehicle. Local Dustin points out the boundary line. My boy Ronnie Hodges does a little advertising for us. His tattoo is derived from a picture I took of him at a trackday! So much love for us...thanks guys! =) Cool details. Local Zee showing the boys how to be smooth. The bicyclists came out to play and train for their upcoming challenge. Keep in mind that if you come up on one, there are usually more bicyclists ahead, so be ready and play nice. I love this shot of Mark's Cobra. He's got some new wheels and meat going on soon... Brad, white line. White line, Brad. Hard. Core. I'll stop there, but there are a few more great highlights shots in my album over here, so check that out. |
