Tuesday - March 30, 2004 I'm still working on getting the (3800+) photos we shot last weekend online. I had a minor catastrophy yesterday when the power recepticle on my laptop (with all the pictures on it) broke. I managed to get the shots onto another PC before the battery died, so now I'm about a day behind...I should have everything online tomorrow afternoon if nothing else goes wrong. Last weekend brought out the masses needless to say. We didn't see too much bad driving...the usual cutting of lanes by a select few...typically the shakiest riders/drivers...funny how that works. One poor guy hit the gravel a little too fast on his new ZX-6R and dumped it right in front of our 3 cameras. I got a series of shots and Lori got it all on video. =/ Okay so more info and photos from last weekend on the way.... Wednesday - March 24, 2004 Well the weather is still a little sketchy, but the warm days are starting to hit. Last weekend Friday and Saturday were awesome, then Sunday barely made it into the 50s. There were still quite a few riders out Sunday, Zee even said she saw one in shorts! We took some pictures Saturday. A few highlights are below, the rest are in our Store. These pictures speak for themselves... I don't know what to say without sounding preachy. There are places were crossing the center isn't so bad, but this is not one of those places. Frankly, if you don't have the road memorized, it's probably just a bad idea to be cutting lanes. Straightening the curves will not make you a better rider/driver. Moving on... This Volvo wagon was Haulin' Oats. (thnx Jacob) |
