Screw a pocketbike, check this out.

Went home last weekend to hit the Auto Expo in Nashville, play some paintball for the first time in 3 years, and watch the breast-bowl. Still hurtin' from the paintball...not from getting shot, just from squatting and running...how pathetic.

We'll be at Moroso raceway in West Palm Beach Florida this weekend shooting SBTT's first southern trackday this year. Highs are around 80 for the whole week. I may not leave.

A couple of my bestest friends sent me some shots of the damage to Foothills Parkway and Bridal Veils Falls.

There was also a slide onto 129 at the entrance to Tapoco Lodge which left a nice hole in the road, but they are in the process of repaving through there, so once it warms up and they can finish paving it shouldn't be noticable.

I've composed a pretty thorough little photography tutorial over here in my new "Tutorial/Advice" section. This section is a natural progression for my website since I like telling people what to do.

I kid!

Just trying to help my people out. (in other words, grasping desperately to keep you coming back) If you would like to see certain topics covered, just drop me a line and I'll find the answers if I don't have them myself.

I've updated the police sting info from 2002. Finally.

I'm also working on simplifying the navigation of the archives so you don't have to keep clicking "Previously on killboy.com" down at the bottom of each page to go back.

Gap regular Chris, aka "F4iGrad" has a new website going that is basically all the things my site should be. Easy navigation, regular updates, and user interaction. Go on over and check him out at www.dragaknee.com

And remember to visit the best Canadian-based forum on the web, Fuzzy-Riders.com

You know, I've had a few offers from businesses to add their banners to my website, but I don't like banner ads, and I don't think my audience would either, so I turn down those big bucks. Now buy some pictures dammit! =)

Got a little album from the Motorcycle show in Atlanta for ya. Here are some highlights:

PART of Tha Line to get in...

Some were having a little more fun than others

Kawi rep hawking the Yamaha R1 engine

Check out the price on these NON-adjustable "Titanium Racing Rear Sets" on the Ducati. ($2,323.20)
That is not a "Typo". The Ducati rep proudly pointed them out to me. Hey they have "Titanium" engraved into them!

Sweet customs...the grey sportbike is by OuterXtremes Custom Designs

Ball of Steel stunt team put on a killer show...ended with a kid doing a backflip...over concrete.

Looks like it's shaping up to be a busy year. Ron and Nancy have booked their rental houses pretty solid through June already.

Lori and I went to see Torque because I heard it was a good laugh. It was a bad laugh. As I told Keith:

The opening sequence and the intro credits were the only thing worth watching.

**Spoiler**

In the opener it shows two FnF import cars staging up in the desert and does all the dramatic camera stuff as they take off. Then, an Aprilia Mille rolls up on them while they are at full throttle and he screws with them for a minute then they hit their NOS! He drops a gear on the bike and wheelies past them. =P Blows by a street sign on the corner of "Carson" and some other street with the word "suck" in the name, and the sign spins around real fast and all you can see is "Cars Suck".

**End Spoiler**

The rest of the movie was racism, violence, and off roading...seriously, except for the final chase sequence, which was entirely CG and looked cheesy. Someone got a knee down ONE time in the intro, and that was for sparky effect, then they did wheelies and stoppies in dirt the whole time.

No segue.

Track Video.

Crank.

Today's hi-res sample is entitled "Unsportsman-like Conduct"

So Chrysler unveiled a 850hp, 248 mph supercar. Hubba.

My photo partner Keith has been hooking me up with a steady stream of quality links:
Here is a butt-load of AMA sportbike pics to keep you occupied.
And here are some answers to those questions you've been afraid to ask. (Text - Adult Content)

Also, BMW Films has a DVD available with all of their short movies on it for $4, free if you're a BMW owner. If you're not familiar with the BMW film series, might I recommend Star.

I guess Lori and I will meet up with Jacob and Noah at the motorcycle show in Atlanta this weekend. We should get some nice shots of all the new bikes coming out this year, so check back.

Funny.
